PURA SEEKS PARTNERS FOR SEVEN DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
PUEBLO, Colo., Nov. 6, 2026 — From a new downtown hotel to a home on the Riverwalk, the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority (PURA) is inviting developers, investors, businesses and service providers to help shape what comes next for Pueblo. PURA released seven solicitations: four property opportunities and three service contracts. Three solicitations include site visits on Friday, Nov. 13, so interested partners are encouraged to plan ahead.
Property opportunities: Bringing places back to life
These four opportunities are part of PURA’s PLAN initiative (Properties Leveraged for Activation and New Possibilities). PLAN works to return vacant and underused properties to productive use.

“PLAN is focused on transforming vacancies into destinations,” said Cherish Deeg, executive director of PURA. “Each of these sites has real potential, and we are looking for experienced partners, wherever they are based, who can help bring them back into productive use. We encourage developers, investors and businesses to review the opportunities and submit a proposal.”
