Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County to Host “Great Futures and Beyond” Recognition Banquet on May 4th
PUEBLO, CO (April 28, 2026) Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County will celebrate the achievements, growth, and bright futures of its young members at the Great Futures and Beyond Recognition Banquet, taking place Monday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fortino Ballroom on the Pueblo Community College Campus. This annual event honors the hard work and accomplishments of Club youth and highlights the organization’s commitment to helping young people reach their full potential.
The 2026 Youth of the Year, Daizey, Co-Junior Youths of the Year, Omar of the Sprague Clubhouse and Colin of the East Side Clubhouse, and Kid of the Year, Piper of the Sprague Clubhouse, will be recognized at the event.
This year, 98 Club members will be recognized for excellence in four key areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, and Outdoor Adventures. These categories reflect the core pillars of Boys & Girls Clubs programming and the diverse strengths of Pueblo County youth.
Adding a fun and memorable twist to the evening, stormtroopers from the Star Wars universe will be on hand to take photos with families. Members will also participate in meaningful and creative activities, including writing a letter to their future selves and a group painting project hosted by the Liberty Point International Clubhouse.
All honorees will receive a special event T-shirt featuring artwork designed by Archie, a member of the Ray Aguilera Teen Center, showcasing creativity and talent within the Clubs.
A highlight of the evening will be the recognition of the Chavez Family as the 2026 Family of the Year, honoring their dedication, involvement, and support of the Boys & Girls Clubs mission.
