Open Enrollment 2027: Important Updates & Digital Resources for Partners

Hello Partners,

As Open Enrollment approaches, we wanted to reconnect and share important updates for Plan Year 2027, along with resources to help you keep your staff, clients, and communities informed.

For those who may be newer to our organization, Connect for Health Colorado is Colorado’s official health insurance marketplace. We help Coloradans compare health insurance plans, access financial assistance, and enroll in coverage that meets their needs. Through our statewide network of certified Assisters and licensed Brokers, we provide FREE enrollment assistance across Colorado.

Important Dates: Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2027 runs November 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. Customers who enroll by December 15 will have coverage effective January 1, 2027. Customers who enroll between December 16 and January 15 will have coverage effective February 1, 2027.

Important Updates for Plan Year 2027

• Coverage Options Continue to Expand: Connect for Health Colorado will offer plans from six medical insurance companies and five dental insurance companies. Colorado Option plans continue to provide affordable coverage options, including free primary care and mental health visits. Learn more about Choosing a Plan.

• Changes for Colorado Immigrants: Beginning January 1, 2027, federal eligibility changes may affect financial assistance eligibility for some lawfully present immigrants. Some may still be able to purchase coverage through Connect for Health Colorado but may no longer qualify for financial assistance. Learn more about Health Insurance for Immigrants.

• OmniSalud: Approximately 6,700 customers will receive OmniSalud SilverEnhanced Savings for Plan Year 2027. Current participants will have the first opportunity to maintain their financial assistance and must enroll by Nov 30, 2026. Any remaining spots will be distributed through the OmniSalud Lottery. The entry period for the lottery runs November 1–30, 2026, with the drawing scheduled for December 1. Entry is free, but participation does not guarantee SilverEnhanced Savings. Connect for Health Colorado’s statewide network of certified Assisters and licensed Brokers can help consumers understand their options, determine eligibility for financial assistance, and enroll in coverage. Assistance is available across Colorado and in more than 22 languages.
