McAninch Farms

About Us

McAninch Farm is a nonprofit small farm that is scholarship and donation-driven and offers the opportunity to directly donate. You can choose to sponsor one of the farm sanctuary's or lesson horses, or even contribute to a student scholarship program to help families that can’t afford the programs. McAninch Farm offers programs primarily for homeschool families, but all are welcome to participate in programs.

Their primary program is a K-12 enrichment program that utilizes agriculture to teach core education and life skills. In this program, they use farm, garden, poultry, and equine to teach kids in a fun environment with a variety of activities, classroom learning, play, and hands-on help with tasks, including labs, chores, and experiments. If your student is not already enrolled in a publicly funded enrichment program, they are eligible for full funding of the tuition. McAninch Farms classes are Mondays for K-2, Tuesdays for 3-6, Wednesdays for middle and high school, and Thursdays for mixed ages and special needs. Classes run from 9:00am to 3:00pm

They also offer a volunteer program, horsemanship programs, and they even started a new program this year called horse camp! Horse Camp will be an intensive horse camp. Students will attend 3 days a week with 2-hour sessions. This program is set up as a progressive program with different levels of achievement and certificates of completion for each level. Please visit their website below to see the cost for their new program!
