We are a local metaphysical gift shop looking for a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team!
Status: Part-time (approximately 25-27 hours per week) - although this position may possibly work into a full-time position in the future
Compensation: $15.16 - $16 per hour
In this role, you’ll be the smiling face that welcomes our customers. While this job expands and grows like we do, a list of basic responsibilities is listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers warmly.
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering customer inquiries regarding products and services
- Researching, creating, and editing videos for social media for educational and/or fun purposes.
- Using basic math skills to handle transactions with accuracy at the cash register
- Keeping the shop clean, organized, and stocked
- Offering support and respect to people from all spiritual backgrounds
Experience:
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience required
- Comfortable using computers and cash registers
- Able to work flexible hours, especially weekends
- Friendly, approachable, open-minded and attentive to detail
- Basic knowledge of crystals, holistic healing or multiple belief systems preferred.
- Social media experience (making TikTok videos) is required.
