Stories of Courage, Legacies of Pride Reception Celebrating Hispanic and Latino Veterans

Stories of Courage, Legacies of Pride Reception

Join us for a special First Friday Art Walk on Friday, October 2, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at the Jackson Conference Center for a special reception celebrating Hispanic and Latino Veterans.

Featuring 54 veteran portraits displayed throughout the Hasan Pavilion and one-third of the Ballroom, this meaningful exhibition honors the stories, service, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino veterans in our community. Enjoy complimentary chips and dip while taking in the portraits, and stay for a special dance performance by Grupo Folklórico Del Pueblo at 6:30 p.m.

As part of First Friday, guests will be invited to cycle from the galleries to the Conference Center at 6:00 p.m. for the reception and performance. This free event is open to all, and the portraits will remain on display through October 15 at 1:00 p.m. Come celebrate, connect, and honor the veterans whose stories deserve to be seen and remembered.
