Shiloh Academy Pueblo Grand Opening

On Thursday, October 15th, join Shiloh House as they celebrate their Grand Opening of their new Pueblo Academy! Various community leaders, partners, and non-profits will be in attendance to celebrate this marvelous development for our community. The event will kick off refreshments and socializing at 10:30am, followed by welcome remarks at 10:50am, and theformal ribbon cutting at 11:20am. After the ribbon cutting concludes, there will be tours of the new Academy. We hope to see you there!

Who We Are

Shiloh House is a non-profit organization offering services tailored to meet the varied educational, emotional and mental health needs of Colorado youth and families. Our philosophy is having family-centered programming which is a foundational component within all treatment services we provide. We make sure each client and family is valued and respected, and our employees recognize and strive to build upon the unique strengths that exist within each family to help families achieve their goals.

Why is Shiloh Academy coming to Pueblo?

• At-risk students in school districts D-60 and D-70 with specific educational and mental health needs are currently being bused to Colorado Springs or Canon City to receive similar services - a great financial cost and disruption for families. The opening of Shiloh Academy Pueblo offers an option closer to home.
• Shiloh Academy Pueblo has been in the works for eight years, and its opening represents collaboration from the education, human services, juvenile justice, behavioral health, business, and nonprofit sectors.
• The Shiloh Academy Day Treatment Program is designed for students who struggle in public school classrooms, combining therapeutic interventions with small class sizes and individualized instruction. Students learn and heal in a safe, structured environment while receiving credit recovery and academic support, social skills development, conflict resolution, and problem solving tools.
