Pueblo Cooperative Care Center's 1st Annual Comedy For A Cause

Pueblo Cooperative Care Center is pleased to announce its 1st Annual comedy celebration, Comedy For A Cause, being held on October 14^th at Pueblo Memorial Hall.  We have a goal of selling 1,200 tickets to the event, with hopes that the comedy celebration becomes an annual fundraiser to support our programs. This year the event is being hosted by Southern Colorado’s very own Andy Koen, a Pueblo native with KOAA television, our local NBC affiliate station. We are blessed to have Andy host and support this important cause!  Attached is an event flyer with a request that you review and share this information with your business associates, family members, and friends.

The difference that Pueblo Cooperative Care Center makes in Pueblo County is life-supportive in many cases, and with the addition of our Nutrition On Wheels (NOW) program serving homebound seniors, and the Mobile Shower Program (MSP) serving the homeless, our services have dramatically increased since the onset of the COVID pandemic.  During pre-COVID times we were providing 60-80 services per day, and now it is normal for us to provide 300 to 350+ per day.  In 2022 alone we provided over 106,000 services as the attached document reflects and we humbly request your support.

Our team is hopeful that you can help support this event. We are also optimistic that you will join us at the event and share in the evening’s fun and festivities.  We also have sponsorship opportunities available, and we would like for you to consider a sponsorship or share with others who may desire to provide additional support. Please see below for more details as well as within the attached three documents.  Tickets will be available for purchase at Pueblo Cooperative Care Center beginning August 1, 2023, Mondays through Thursday’s from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  They are available online now at the Pueblo Memorial Hall website and the cost is only $30 per ticket!

Far above everything else, we would ask that you help promote the event through word-of-mouth, and consider helping us to obtain sponsorships, by putting up posters in your workplace, churches, or other appropriate locations.
