The Latino Chamber of Commerce and the Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado Immigration Program have partnered together to host the Immigration Rights in the Business Community Bilingual Workshop.
This important and insightful workshop will be hosted on Wednesday, April 30th at the Latino Chamber office and will be offered in both English and Spanish. The English presentation will begin at 11:00am and the Spanish presentation will begin at 12:00pm. -how to perform a self audit of Form I-9s
-how to store and maintain Form I-9s
-an individual's rights and responsibilities in the event of enforcement action
-how a community can align immigration with labor market needs
-what to do if you are audited by the U.S. DHS
-what to do if your business is raided by ICE or CBP
-how to create a company wide plan and prepare your employees if a raid takes place
-local resources available for immigrants and migrants
