John Giordanengo, the Author of Ecosystems as Models for Restoring Our Economies, is hosting an in person discussion on Wednesday, November 29th at 7:00pm at CSU Pueblo. One of the central themes of his story is the importance of local businesses to a robust and resilient regional economy. Mr. Giordanengo emphasizes the recirculation value of money when it is spent on locally-produced goods and services.
John tailors his talks to every audience, including topics such as:
• The role of economic diversity in sustaining a nation’s resilience, productivity, employment, and security.
• Impacts of energy and trade on economic diversity.
• An ecological explanation for the wealth gap; implications for productivity, resilience, and diversity.
• The economic structure needed to stimulate (not stymie) circular and sustainable economies.
