General Purpose: This position assists the Director of Early Childhood Programs to direct and supervise the delivery and operations of programs involved in early childhood development, education, social supports and health and wellness for families in various settings including family homes, classrooms and childcare settings. This position will directly oversee Family Development Services including: Support, Connect, and Nurture, Healthy Steps, Colorado Community Response and DHS Supportive Ongoing Services and will develop the process for team-based case management across all other Catholic Charities programs.

Leadership Exercised:

  • Motivates and communicates effectively with staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a representative of CCDP Early Childhood Department and participates in functional activities to achieve CCDP’s goals and objectives.
  • Assists Director with supervision of coordinators, home visitors and childcare workers.
  • Assists Director to provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Assists Director with Establishing budgets, contracts, track progress and prepare reports.
  • Assists Director to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction with the Early Childhood Programs.
  • Participates in organizational-wide strategic and operational planning and overall leadership.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with regard to families.
  • Assists Director with responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
  • Analyzes and creates reports defining project progress, research variances and provides explanation to operating problems and solutions to the Executive Director.
  • Assists Director with initiating, planning, and directing activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding/budget parameters and consistent with CCDP strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Evaluates work performance of direct reports.
  • Ensure specific grant requirements are met.
  • Develops a comprehensive team-based case management approach to family development services for agency operations in conjunction with Director and Senior Leadership Team.

Primary Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Social Work.
  • Knowledge of billing for services and ability to train staff in this area.
  • Knowledge of High-Fidelity Wraparound and other family development models.
  • Has strong work ethic.

Minimum Requirements:

FaithThere is no faith requirement for this position.

Education: Master’s Degree in social work, required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred or ability to be licensed within 1 year of hire.

Experience: Two years of progressive experience in family development and oversight of programs and staff.

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
