The 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Award recognizes young professionals that show a strong commitment not only to their chosen field, but to the Pueblo County community. To date, more than 200 young leaders have been honored with this accolade! Ideal nominees are up and coming leaders in their community, from fields such as: business, non-profit, government/politics, and advocacy work, etc. Professionals between the ages of 18 and 40, at least 30 days prior to the event, are eligible to receive the award.
Each honoree will receive one complimentary ticket to the 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards Dinner, which will be held in the CSU Pueblo Ballroom on June 13th at 5:00pm. Honorees will be featured in a formal presentation that will be shown at the event and published on social media platforms. In addition, honorees will receive an award, a red carpet walk during the event, and be featured in a press release announcing their accomplishment.
Individual tickets for the 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony are $100 per person and are available by calling 719-542-5513 or visiting our website at www.pueblolatinochamber.com. Corporate tables of 10, event program ads, and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
To submit a nomination, please include the following information:
• Completed nomination form. (below)
• Nominee’s current resume. (optional)
• 1 - 3 detailed letters of support (400 words maximum in length) focusing on the nominee’s areas of expertise and professional affiliations, accomplishments, leadership experience, community involvement through board/volunteer participation, and long-term goals.
• Letter from the nominator (400 words maximum in length) focusing on the nominee’s achievements and what makes the nominee an up and coming leader.
• Support documentation in the form of newspaper articles and features in professional journals or highlights regarding other awards and recognitions in their field of work or study. (optional)
• Nominee’s bio with a photograph.
