Local Food Showcase & Leadership Awards on Friday, March 20 at Pueblo Community College. Hosted by Pueblo Food Project, this lively evening is dedicated to honoring the people and flavors that define our city’s food scene while raising funds to support the work that Pueblo Food Project does in our community. Guests will be treated to locally-inspired tastings from businesses like Snowmelt Sauces, Bingo Burger, and Little Chiles Kitchen, each bringing their own unique flavor to the table. But this isn’t just about great bites and sips - it’s about celebrating the leaders who work to make Pueblo's food system more vibrant and equitable. During the event, the Pueblo Food Project will recognize outstanding community members who are transforming Pueblo’s food system.
The fun doesn’t stop at dinner - expect live music, drinks, and an abundant silent auction! Bid on beef boxes, egg shares, seedling sets, and other local treasures, each item showcasing an aspect of our vibrant ecosystem of local producers and makers who help our community thrive.
This evening provides an opportunity to engage in the local food work of community members, organizations, and Pueblo leaders. We will honor those among us who have shown great commitment to our community through promoting and preserving our strong culture around fantastic food and strong food systems. And we would love to have you there!
The Made in Pueblo: Local Food Showcase & Leadership Awards is a main event of Pueblo Food Project's annual Sun Soil Water Summit. The Sun Soil Water Summit brings over 400 people together to learn and build community around our food system. As the winter winds down and we prepare to welcome spring in our community, we would love for you to dig in with us. You can purchase tickets at pueblofoodproject.org/sunsoilwater, and share the event with your network.
Please reach out if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing you there!
